User Tips
- Weekly water replacement of 5 to 10% of your pond’s volume is recommended. Since vacuuming the pond pumps water out, regular use of the Pond Vac is suggested, preferably during weekly water changes.
- The water you vacuum can be used to water your garden plants because pond debris contains natural fertilizer.
- Regular pond cleaning prevents dirt from accumulating into thick layers that are hard to remove.
- A clean pond ensures a healthy pond.
Maintenance
NOTICE! The Pond Vac must be cleaned regularly for trouble-free operation. Faults due to a dirty motor caused by improper or lack of maintenance are not covered by the warranty.
ALWAYS disconnect the mains plug before carrying out maintenance!
- Clean the housing, wand and nozzles, regularly with a damp cloth (preferably after each use).
- For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth moistened with warm soapy water (max. 40°C). NEVER use solvents (benzene, alcohol, ammonia, etc.), these can damage the plastic parts.
- Rinse the flexible hose in clean water.
