Smart-Air 1 and 2
Installation
The Smart-Air is easy to install on the side of your aquarium with the integrated suction cup.
Always position the air pump above the water level otherwise the pump can fill up with water as a result of the siphoning effect. No warranties for damages caused by the air pump getting wet or water fill inside the air pump!
Alternative you may use a non-return valve, then the air pump may be positioned underneath the water level.

Maintenance
The lifespan of the Smart-Air is about one year, depending on the wear of the membrane.
Diaphragm ware is normal and is not covered by warranty. Due to the design the membrane cannot be replaced.
Replace air tube and air stones yearly. Old and cracked ones will reduce performance and durability of the air pump.
