Algadrex

Colombo Algadrex Against turbid water.
In ponds, most problems are caused by turbid water. Fish can no longer be seen and plants receive insufficient light. With the use of Algadrex the water will become clear within one hour. Blanket weed can be treated with Colombo Algisin.

Problems with turbid water are often caused by inferior water quality. Therefore it is important to test and correct before you use Algadrex. You can test the water quality with a Colombo test kit, the results can be entered into our on-line pond check application which can be found on our website www.colombo.nl.

Warning:
The use of Algadrex in water with a KH lower than 6°DH, may cause a pH-shock. In this case first restore the mineral balance with Colombo KH+.

Determination of pond volume:
Calculate the volume of the pond to be treated as accurately as possible: length x breadth x average depth in decimetres = volume in litres.

Dosage:
100 ml per 1.000 litres of pond water. Make a premix with water in a bucket or watering can. Distribute evenly over the pond. After using Algadrex, the floating particles clog together and must be removed with a fine mesh net. Finally Colombo Sludge Clean can be used to decompose organic remainders in a natural way. As far as known, this product is harmless to water creatures such as frogs, salamanders, freshwater lobsters and snails. In case you have either positive or negative experiences, please contact us by Email: info@colombo.nl

Decomposition:
Added treatments will disappear automatically from ponds because of natural processes, such as oxidation and decomposition by means of bacteria.

Effect upon other animals:
Pets and birds drink water from the pond to which this product has been added. In general it is thought that, if fish can swim in the water, it is harmless to animals that drink from the same water. Nevertheless, during this treatment, it would be advisable to give animals (e.g. dogs and cats), which regularly drink water from the pond, a dish of water.
