Algisin® is an effective treatment for blanket weed in ponds. Due to the powerful activity blanket weed will be removed quickly. Within a few day after use of Algisin the remains of blanket weed can be removed with a fine coarse net. Furtheron the remainder will be decomposed by bacteria and collected in the filter. Algisin is, when dosed correctly, safe for fish and plants. This makes it the perfect solution for blanket weed. Read enclosed manual before use.
Dosage: 1 Full measuring cup (=150 ml) per 3.000 litres of pond water. Two treatments are required to get the desired results, re-dosage after 14 days. Test the water quality before use, a test strip is enclosed.
Contains Monolinuron 0,29% w/w. Warning: Precautionary statements: Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not breathe dust. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. Dispose of contents/container to hazardous or special waste collection point. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. Keep in a safe place, out of reach of children. Do not empty into drains. Do not contaminate watercourses with chemicals or used container. Do not for use when frogs/toads are spawning, the blanket weed provides shelter for the eggs. Only for use in ornamental ponds.
