Koi Pro Module UVC 40 Watt High Output
EN
The Koi Pro Module is a high output immersion UVC that is easy to build in a pond filter. The compact design of the UVC has a feedthrough with a micro switch for safe usage. The short installation depth makes it possible to install the UVC in almost any pond application and does not reduce the water flow.
The UV lamp is made of quartz glass instead of ordinary glass, for optimal UV transmittance. The effective life of the compact UV lamp is twice as long as an ordinary UV lamp. The UV lamp produces ultraviolet light with a wavelength of exactly 254 nm, thus meaning best effectiveness at this wavelength. The UVC radiation kills almost all harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi and keeps algae growth under control.
