Silicone sealant
100% silicone. Suitable for aquarium construction (according to DIN 32622): freshwater & marine aquariums and terrariums.

Application: The surface must be clean, grease and dust free. Remove old sealant and other loose parts. Apply sealant evenly into the joint and smooth with an acid-free soap solution within 5 minutes. Remove any excess sealant. A surface fleece is formed after ±15 minutes, full cure may take several days depending on sealant thickness (2 mm per 24 hours). Process between 5 and 40°C. Allow the aquarium to air for ±5 days before filling; then fill 2-3 times with clean water for 24 hours.

Shelf life: 18 months in an unopened package in a cool, frost-free, dry place (5-25°C) see imprint. After opening limited shelf life.

Properties: Permanently elastic, temperature resistant from -60 to +180°C, acetic acid curing, resistant to ageing, all weather influences and high/low temperatures.
