Function
The Floating LED Fountain is a floating fountain pump with LED lighting for water circulation and atmosphere. The powerful water movement enriches the pond water with oxygen. The energy-efficient LED lighting automatically changes colour continuously.
The Floating LED Fountain 20000 features a powerful pump with a capacity of 20,000 l/h, creating a fountain approximately 3 metres in diameter and 1 metre high. The Floating LED Fountain 40000 with a capacity of 40,000 l/h creates a fountain of approx. 4.3 metres and a height of approx. 1.5 metre.
Pump blockage protection
The pump is equipped with pump blockage protection. In the event of overload, for example because the rotor is stuck, the pump will switch off automatically.
Remove the plugs from the socket before carrying out maintenance!
Check that the rotor can rotate freely and, if necessary, clean the rotor and rotor housing. Plug the plugs back into the socket after the fault has been rectified and the pump will switch itself back on.
Assembly
Place the metal grid (3) on top of the pump and screw the protective ring (2) in place with both screws (1).
Installation
Attach the nylon cords (9) to either side of the float and the other ends to the two pegs (10).
Insert one of the pegs into the ground next to the pond. Place the Floating LED Fountain in the pond and drag it to the desired position using the other nylon cord (make sure the plugs do not end up in the water).
Insert the other peg into the ground and adjust the length of both cords (do not tighten too much) so that the Floating LED Fountain floats in place and can move with the wind and changing water levels.
The power cables should lie tension-free on the pond bottom.
The location of the Floating LED Fountain in the pond must be at least 60 cm deep so that no bottom dirt is pumped up, causing the pump to clog. Also take into account the fountain diameter (approx. 3 metres/4.3 metres) so that the water remains within the pond and the pond is not pumped empty.
Once the Floating LED Fountain is correctly positioned, it can be switched on by plugging both plugs into the mains socket. Ensure there is a drip loop in the cables. The pump and LED lighting can be switched on or off separately.
Make sure that no one can trip over the cables and that the cables cannot be damaged.
Maintenance
The pump should be cleaned regularly (minimum twice a year) to ensure trouble free operation. Scale deposits, in particular, can cause your pump to cease. There is no warranty on failures due to dirty pumps and scale build up inside the pump caused by improper or lack of maintenance.

For proper cleaning and descaling, it is best to use SuperFish Pump & UVC Clean (Art. 07070500), which is available from your dealer.

Unscrew the pump housing (6/7) from the bottom of the LED lighting (5).
Mix SuperFish Pump & UVC Clean in a large bucket with clean tap water, according to the instructions on the bottle. Immerse the pump into it and leave it there for 24 hours.
Take the pump housing out of the bucket and let it drain before disassembling it.

Unscrew both screws (11) on top of the pump (7) and remove the rotor (12) and the ceramic ring (13).
Brush and clean all parts and the housing thoroughly. Rinse everything with clean tap water and reassemble the unit.
Depending on the use of the pump, the rotor may become damaged or worn, which is normal. A new rotor (Floating LED Fountain 20000 art. 07070070/Floating LED Fountain 40000 art. 07070085) is available from your dealer.
When replacing the rotor (12), also replace the bearing (14) using the tool (15); both are supplied with the new rotor.

NOTE! During periods of frost, it is better to remove the Floating LED Fountain from the pond. Of course, the fountain will be able to keep a hole open in the ice, but in severe frost, the pump may be irreparably damaged. In the event of persistent severe frost, check that the hole in the pond remains sufficiently open. If this is not the case, remove the Floating LED Fountain. Clean and dry the pump well and store it frost-free.
