Breeding set for easy hatching of Artemia
The SuperFish Artemia Breeder 350 is a user-friendly breeding set for Artemia. Easily hatch your own artemia nauplii, ensuring a constant supply of fresh, live food with high nutritional value. Ideal for young fish, sensitive species, and fish in breeding condition.

Instructions for use outside the aquarium:
Place the Artemia Breeder on a stable surface in an environment with a temperature of around 26 °C.
Instructions for use inside the aquarium:
Attach the Artemia Breeder to the inside of the aquarium using the included clip and suction cups. Always ensure the breeder is positioned at least 4 cm above the water level.
Breeding instructions:
- Connect the air hose to the bottom (inlet), place the air valve after the air pump (air pump not included), and install the check valve approximately 10 cm after the inlet (pay close attention to the direction).
- Fill with approx. 350 ml of salt water (± 25–30 g sea salt per liter) up to 4 cm below the rim and add 1 gram (a small pinch) of eggs.
- Set a constant aeration and keep the temperature around 26 °C. After 24–48 hours, switch off the air, allow the empty shells to float, and drain the hatched artemia.
Tip: You can use special artemia salt, but also sea salt without additives. The correct salinity is crucial for proper development of the nauplii.
The quality of the artemia eggs determines the success. We recommend SuperFish Artemia Eggs, with a hatching rate of 90%.
